Lean meat

Lean meat

Lean meats are those that have less fat than regular beef. These types of meats are leaner and healthier than fatty meats. Lean meats are low in saturated fats and high in protein. Lean meats are great for vegetarians and vegans because they provide a good amount of protein without having any cholesterol. Lean meats are also great for people who want to lose weight because they help reduce calories while providing a lot of nutrition.

 2. Grass-fed meat

Grass-fed meat comes from animals that eat grass instead of grains. Grass-fed meat is considered to be of higher quality than grain-fed meat. Grass-fed meat contains more omega-3 fatty acids and conjugated linoleic acid (CLA). CLA is a type of polyunsaturated fatty acid that helps fight cancer and heart disease. Omega-3 fatty acids are also known to improve brain function and help prevent depression.

 3. Pastured meat

Pastured meat is meat from animals that live outside and eat natural foods. Animals raised pastured are not given antibiotics or hormones. Pastured meat is lower in fat and higher in vitamins and antioxidants than conventional meat.

 4. Wild game meat

Wild game meat is meat from animals hunted in their natural habitat. Game meat is often leaner than farm-raised meat because the animals don't receive much food. However, wild game meat does contain some fat.

 5. Free-range meat

Free-range meat is meat from animals raised in open spaces where they can roam around freely. Free-range meat is generally leaner than conventionally raised meat.

 6. Organic meat

Organic meat is meat that was grown without using pesticides or hormones. Organic meat is higher in nutrients and lower in fat than nonorganic meat.

 7. Grass-fed poultry

Poultry is meat from chickens and turkeys. Poultry is lower in fat than red meat and is considered to be healthier. Grass-fed poultry is higher in omega-3 fatty acids, CLA, and vitamin E.
