1. FIFA World Cup Schedule 2022

 The first edition of the FIFA World Cup was held in 1930 in Uruguay. Since then, the tournament has been played every four years. In 2018, Russia hosted the event. The 2026 FIFA World Cup will take place in Qatar. The 2022 FIFA World Cup will be held in Qatar. The final match of the 2022 FIFA World Cup will take take place at Al Wakrah Stadium in Doha, Qatar. The opening ceremony of the 2022 FIFA World cup will take place on June 21st, 2022.

 2. Host Cities

 In order to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Qatar had to win the bid over Morocco. Morocco won the bidding process over Qatar in 2010. However, Morocco withdrew its offer after being accused of corruption. After Qatar won the bid, they were awarded $15 billion dollars to build stadiums and infrastructure.

 3. Venues

 There are three venues that will host matches in the 2022 FIFA World Cup. These venues are Al Wakrah stadium, Lusail Stadium, and Khalifa International Stadium. Al Wakrah stadium will host the opening match and final match. Lusail Stadium will host the semi-finals and the third-place play-off. Khalifa International Stadium will host the second-place playoff.
